Creativity Crunch; Do Not Wimp Out Now!

Author : Lance Winslow
One problem many people have is when they are pressed to be creative or they find themselves forced to think on a certain timetable and this can be hard to deal with at times. Call it the Creativity Crunch if you will, but whatever you do; Do Not Wimp Out Now!So often, we find super creative people unable to cope when set on a deadline or put under too much stress and in such a creative crunch we expect them to do their best work. But that is not how the creative mind works, well not for all people anyway. In fact my mind is very creative and it works better under maximum stress and pressure and now that works for me, but I am not the typical creative type of artist, author or genius that is in our society or civilization. The United States of America is truly blessed with all the creative people in our society and most of this is because of the freedoms that we have and the liberty we are able to enjoy. There is no doubt in this great nation then we have the most number of entrepreneurs per capita and we also have the most number of authors, artists and designers. It seems like all the greatest inventions of mankind seem to have started in the United States of America. Many countries who cannot create as fast as us perhaps due to social conditioning of their government or superstructure societies will borrow ideas from the United States that we have created and even pirate our patents. Most people are quite alarmed by such things and yet other people refer back to the quote; Imitation Is the Highest Form of Flattery. If you are a creative person then America owes you a sense of gratitude. Because it is because of the creative person that America has become so great and without your creative genius we could have never done it.You and people like you have created all the tools, machines and nearly everything we see everywhere we go. We need you. So when you have a creativity crunch please do not wimp out. Instead go get some fresh air and take a few minutes and then come back to your work and let the creative juices flow.Lance Winslow, a retired entrepreneur, adventurer, modern day philosopher and perpetual tourist.
